Epic Fan Box Terms and Conditions

  • 1. Information on how to enter and prizes form part of these conditions of entry. Entry into the competition is deemed acceptance of these terms and conditions.

  • 2. The promotion is open to New Zealand residents. Employeesof the Promoter and any agency involved with this promotion, and the immediate families of such employees, are not eligible to enter.

  • 3. The promotion commences on Tuesday 27 February 2018 and finishes on Monday 21 May 2018 (‘Promotion Period’).

  • 4. How to enter promotion:

    • a. Simply purchase an Epic Fan Box meal from a participating KFC store, excluding Auckland Airport – International Terminal, during the Promotion Period, set up an account on the website www.forthefans.co.nz including your first and last name, email address, date of birth and the New Zealand Super Rugby franchises you support, and enter the unique code from your GST receipt.

    • b. Entrants may enter as many times as they like. Each entry must be accompanied by a different unique code.

    • c. On redemption of the code entrant will be awarded one entry into a draw to win 2 x Epic Fan Box tickets to their selected home game.

  • 5. Prizes:

    • a. An entry to win 2x KFC Epic Fan Box seats at a Super Rugby 2018 game of choice (provided the entry is received prior to the last draw for the entrants nominated franchise being conducted).

    • b. Entrants also have the option to enter to win 1 x $25 KFC voucher per week, either by selecting it instead of a Epic Fan Box game option, or by sharing their entry to Facebook. Each winner will be selected at random and notified once per week throughout the promotional period.

  • 6. Entry into KFC Epic Fan Box:

    • a. The final draw for the KFC Epic Fan Box Prize will be conducted on Monday 2 July at 2pm for all qualifying entries before 11:59pm on Monday 21 May 2018.

    • b. The winner will be contacted via email and will need to confirm within 72 hours, if they cannot be contactable within 72 hours, the Promoter will draw a new winner.

    • c. All KFC Epic Fan Box winners under 18 years old must be accompanied by an adult at the time of redeeming the prize.

    • d. In the event that an ineligible entry is drawn for the KFC Fan Zone experience Prize or the Promoter is unable to contact a winner within 72 hours of the prize draw, having made reasonable attempts to do so, the Promoter may deem that winner’s entry invalid and select a new winner on the same terms as the original Prize draw.

  • 7. All winners are eligible to 2 x seats in the KFC Epic Fan Box for the following Super Rugby games –

    • a. 7 April 2018 Chiefs at FMG Stadium Waikato AMI Stadium located at 128 Seddon Road, Hamilton

    • b. 11 May 2018 Blues at Eden Park Stadium located at Reimers Ave, Kingsland, Auckland

    • c. 25 May 2018 Crusaders at AMI Stadium located at 95 Jack Hinton Dr, Addington, Christchurch

    • d. 1 June 2018 Highlanders at Forsyth Barr Stadium located at 130 Anzac Ave, Dunedin

    • e. 7 July 2018 Hurricanes Experience at Westpac Stadium located at 105 Waterloo Quay, Pipitea, Wellington

  • 8. The KFC Epic Fan Box prize includes:

    • a. 2 seats within the Epic Fan Box container at one of the above Super Rugby games; and

    • b. KFC catering during the Super Rugby game. KFC will endeavour to satisfy dietary needs within existing menu options.

  • 9. Prize does not include any travel costs and the winner and their guests will need to make their own way to and from the location of the event.

  • General:

  • 10. By entering this Promotion, entrants agree to the use of their names, images and likeness for promotional/advertising purposes, and agree to make themselves reasonably available for this purpose. The ensuing copyright will rest with the Promoter, without any claim to compensation from the entrants.

  • 11. In the event that the prize or any part of the prize becomes unavailable for any reason beyond the Promoter's control, the Promoter may in its sole discretion decide to provide an alternative prize.

  • 12. The promoter is not liable for any weather event and/or weather delay.

  • 13. Neither the Promoter nor any other entity associated with this competition will be responsible for any late, lost, misdirected, incorrectly submitted or incomplete entries, including but not limited to entries not received due to technical problems or human error. In particular, and without limitation, the Promoter is not responsible for any problems or technical malfunction of any telephone network or lines, servers or providers, or any combination thereof and is not responsible for any incorrect or inaccurate information caused by any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilised in this competition, or by any technical error that may occur in the course of the administration of this competition. The time entries and votes are deemed to be made will be the time the entry or vote is received, not the time the entry or vote is submitted.

  • 14. The Promoter reserves the right to disallow entries in its absolute discretion and without giving reasons.

  • 15. The Promoter reserves the right, at any time, to verify the validity of claims and determine the eligibility of entrants (including an entrant's identity) and to disqualify any entry or refuse to award a prize where false or misleading details have been given by an entrant, where the voting has been tampered with, or where an entrant has behaved in a fraudulent or dishonest manner, or otherwise than in accordance with these terms and conditions or the spirit of the promotion.

  • 16. If a winner cannot accept or take part in the prize for any reason, their prize will be void andno compensation will be made available nor exchangeable.

  • 17. Failure by the Promoter to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights.

  • 18. All decisions made by the Promoter its employees or agents are final and no correspondence will be entered into.

  • 19. If the promotion is not able to operate as anticipated for any reason, the Promoter may amend, suspend or cancel any aspect of the competition (including any prize) at any time in its sole discretion.

  • 20. Except for any liability that cannot be excluded by law, the Promoter (including its officers, directors, shareholders, employees, advisors, assignees, agents, licensees, representatives, advertising and promotional agencies), excludes all liability (including negligence), for any personal injury or any loss or damage (including loss of opportunity), whether direct, indirect, special or consequential, arising in any way out of the Promotion, including, but not limited to, where attributable to any of the following: (a)any technical difficulties or equipment malfunction (whether or not under the Promoter's control); (b) any theft, unauthorized access or third party interference; (c) any entry or prize claim that is late, lost, altered, damaged or misdirected ; (d) any variation in the prize; (e) any tax liability incurred by a claimant or entrant; or (f) use of a prize.

  • 21. To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Promoter is not liable for any loss, damage, or injury by or to any person in connection with this promotion or with winning or benefiting from a prize.

  • 22. The winners are bound by the conditions of entry and behaviour at AMI/Eden Park/Westpac/FMG/Forysth Barr Stadiums (as applicable). Winners are responsible for their own behaviour and the promoter will notbe liable for any damages or eviction from any venue or transportation related to unacceptable behaviour including but not limited to intoxication as deemed by the venue management, transport provider or promoter and their appointed promotional representative.

  • 23. As a condition of participating in the promotion, participants indemnify the Promoter, all organisers, sponsors and all other persons and organisations associated in any way with this promotion against all claims, damages, liabilities, costs and expenses (including costs on a solicitor-client basis) which the participant may incur arising out of their participation in the promotion and/or participating in the prize, howsoever caused.

  • 24. The Promoter and its agent Ogilvy & Mather New Zealand, collects and holds personal information provided by entrants for the purposes of this promotion and for future promotional purposes. Failure to provide requested personal information may disqualify a person from being able to receive a prize. All personal information provided by entrants will be held by the Promoter. Under the Privacy Act 1993, entrants have the right to access and correct any such personal information. Entrants may access and request correction of any of the details about them held by the Promoter by using the contact form located at www.kfc.co.nz/contact-us/.

One on One Terms and Conditions

  • 1. Information on how to enter and prizes form part of these conditions of entry. Submission of the Entry form is deemed acceptance of these terms and conditions.

  • 2. The promotion is open to New Zealand residents. Employees of the Promoter and any agency involved with this promotion, and the immediate families of such employees, are not eligible to participate in this promotion.

  • 3. The promotion commences on Tuesday 20 February, 2018 at 10am and finishes on Monday 14th May 2018 at 5pm (Promotion Period).

  • 4. To enter, entrants must fill in the form at forthefans.co.nz and supply an outline of how they would spend time with a Super Rugby player or players, their full name, email address, preferred Super Rugby team, location, and confirmation that they are over the age of 18 or have parental consent to enter.

  • 5. Finalists (up to 5entrants) will be selected no later by 5pm on Monday 14th May 2018 at Ogilvy & Mather, 22 Stanley St, Parnell, 1010, Auckland. The selection will be based on merit, and will be determined by the Promoter in its sole discretion. Winners will be notified by email and/or phone by the Promoter no later than Tuesday 15th May 2018. The 5 finalists may be asked a series of questions and be interviewed. Five winners will then be chosen to participate in the one on one experiences no later than Monday 4th June 2018.

  • 6. Entrants may enter the promotion multiple times, provided that each experience submitted has not previously been submitted to this promotion.

  • 7. Each winner is eligible to a unique One on One Experience with a Super Rugby Player or players. Time, date and experience are at the sole discretion of the promoter and may be changed at any time. Winners must be available on the specified date and time in order to be considered for entry.

  • 8. The One on One experience includes 1-2 hours with a Super Rugby player or players undertaking an activity of the winners choice. Date and experience details will be confirmed at least 10 days prior to the experience taking place.

  • 9. Prize does not include any travel costs and the winner and their guests will need to make their own way to and from the location of the experience.

  • 10. All guests must be 18 or older or have parental consent to attend and be accompaniedby a nominated adult over the age of 18. If the prize winner is under 18, the prize will be issued to a parent or legal guardian of the prize winner as nominated by the prize winner.

  • 11. All entries become the property and copyright of the Promoter. By entering this promotion, entrants assign copyright in their entry to the Promoter. Content may be used by the Promoter on the Promoter’s social media accounts including but not limited to Facebook, YouTube, Instagram, Twitter, the KFC website or any of its subsidiary domains, and in other media or promotional material by the Promoter’s sole discretion.

  • 12. By entering this Promotion, entrants agree to the use of their names, images and likeness for promotional/advertising purposes, and agree to make themselves reasonably available for this purpose.
